From set drills to free sparring
Kumite means “meeting of hands”. Students progress step by step, from drills where the attack and defence are agreed in advance to free sparring, always with control and respect for a partner.
Kumite builds timing, distance, confidence and calm under pressure. Each stage is introduced only when a student is ready, so beginners can enjoy partner work safely from their very first classes.
